Velasquez’s journey with NASA began in 2021 when he joined as an intern through the Pathways Internship Program while pursuing aerospace engineering at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This program allowed him to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology, including the eVTOL modeling software known as NASA Design and Analysis of Rotorcraft. He even developed a guide to assist other NASA engineers in utilizing this software effectively.
