How To Play Roblox On Oculus Quest 2

Can You Play Roblox on Oculus Quest?

Can You Play Roblox on the Oculus Quest 2?

There isn’t an official way to play Roblox on the Oculus Quest 2, but there’s a very simple way to do it that isn’t. In Quest 2, you can set up a virtual desktop. Oculus Link is already on your list of things to learn about. Users of Meta’s software for the Oculus Quest 2 can connect their PC to their Quest 2 and play games on it. So, Roblox will run on your computer, and it will be shown on the Oculus Quest 2’s screen. Users can do this with wires or without them at all. 

The Oculus Quest 2’s middle name is “Wireless.” This is why VR fans are so excited about it. Free PC app: You need to download and install the free PC app, then connect the headset by entering your Oculus username. You can get to PCVR games on the Virtual Desktop menu by using your headset or your computer, but you can also get to them there.

Make sure you use Oculus Link if you want to use the Quest 2 to play Roblox with wires. Make sure you get the official PC client from the game site, Roblox. • Installation of Roblox Player 

People who want to play Roblox games need to download a small piece of software called the Roblox player. First, go to any Roblox game and press the green play button. Afterwards, you’ll be able to play Roblox. Those who already play Roblox can skip this step. 

• A VR game for Roblox. 

To play Roblox in virtual reality, you need to have a Roblox game that can run in VR. VR and Quest 2 should be able to play the game you choose. You can quickly search for VR games on Roblox by typing the word in the search box. 

• A Fully Charged Quest 2

The battery on your Oculus Quest 2 will drain if you play any game on it, as always. Make sure your headset is fully charged before start. If you don’t, you’ll have to take it off very quickly.

How to Allow Unknown Sources on the Oculus Link 

Because Roblox isn’t on the Oculus Store, it hasn’t been checked out by the Oculus team. Despite this, you will need to do another thing to make sure Roblox runs on your Quest 2.  Make sure Oculus Link is already set up.  Follow the steps below to let Roblox pass through.

1. Find the Oculus setup page and click Download
2. Wait to finish downloading, and install.
3. Launch the application , and click devices.
4. Tap or click Add Headset.
5. Then, select Quest or Quest 2, and Tap Continue.
6. After that, Connect your Quest or Quest 2 to your personal computer with a link cable, and Tap Continue
7. Tap Continue.
8. Tap Close.
9. Put on your headset.
10. On your headset, look for a prompt that asks for access to your data. You can either allow or deny it.
11. On the headset, choose Enable
12. In the Oculus app, choose Setings
13. Tap General
14. Then, Enable Unknown Sources.
15. Find a Roblox game that supports VR, and tap play button
16. Put headset, and play Roblox in VR.

Problems to Play Roblox in VR Mode? 

As long as your Quest or Quest 2 headset is connected to your computer, you can play games like Roblox in a virtual desktop mode on the headset, but you don’t see an option to turn on virtual reality. There are a few things that could be wrong. 

• The world doesn’t support VR:

The world doesn’t support VR: If you don’t see the VR option in the in-game settings menu, try a different Roblox world to see if that helps. 

• You have a beta or old version of Roblox: 

Remove Roblox and download it again from the Roblox site. Another way to make the app work better for you is to install it as an administrator if you can. 

• Use Steam VR to try out your Quest.

Link your Oculus Quest or Quest 2 to your computer by following the steps above. Before you do step 15, open SteamVR. When Steam VR is running, you can start the Roblox game of your choice, and it will open on your Quest in VR mode.
