However, instead of reversing time, she opens a portal to a parallel timeline where Safi is still alive but remains in danger. Max soon realizes that the murderer is set to strike again in both timelines, and only she has the ability to Shift between them to solve and prevent the impending crime.
This game serves as a direct sequel to the original Life is Strange game released in 2015. Players are introduced to Max’s evolved power that allows her to Shift between two parallel timelines. Additionally, the new Pulse ability offers a glimpse into the opposite timeline, enabling Max to overhear conversations on the other side—an invaluable tool for solving mysteries.
