CES 2023 was a showcase of the latest and greatest in technology, and it did not disappoint. From cutting-edge televisions to innovative smart home devices, there was something for everyone at the show. Here are 12 exciting products that stood out at CES 2023:
#1. OLED Computer Monitors
At CES 2023, we saw the introduction of several new computer monitors featuring OLED technology. Also, LG, Acer, and Asus all announced 27-inch monitors with OLED displays, which offer far better contrast and color vibrancy than traditional IPS displays. The monitors have a resolution of 2560×1440 and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, making them perfect for gaming.
Furthermore, unlike standard IPS displays, OLED panels don’t have a backlight that glows through and illuminates a picture. Rather, they rely on millions of unique LEDs that can turn off and on individually, which permits nearly infinite contrast and better color reproduction. This results in a more vivid and lifelike image, which is particularly beneficial for gamers looking for an immersive experience.
One of the biggest advantages of OLED technology is its ability to produce true blacks. Because each pixel turns off individually, there is no light bleeding, resulting in a much higher contrast ratio. This is especially beneficial for dark scenes in games and movies, where the contrast ratio is critical.

#2. Samsung ViewFinity S9
Samsung’s ViewFinity S9 display is a game-changer for creative professionals. The monitor offers 5K resolution, 600 nits of brightness, and 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. It is the same as Apple’s extremely expensive Studio Display. One of the most notable features of the ViewFinity S9 display is its ability to be calibrated with an Android phone. This makes the process infinitely easier and more realistic for most people to do.
Calibrating a monitor is a process that typically requires equipment that costs hundreds or even thousands of dollars, as well as a bit of expertise. With the ViewFinity S9, you can easily calibrate your monitor with an Android phone, which makes it much more accessible for most people.
The ViewFinity S9 also offers some other impressive features. It can charge laptops with up to 96 W of power, which is more than the 65 W of the current 4K monitor pick, the Dell S2722QC. It also comes with a non-reflective matte finish, which makes it great for working in brightly-lit rooms.
