Introduced a decade ago, AWS Lambda allowed developers to execute code without the need for server management, a concept that was groundbreaking at the time. This innovation emerged from customers’ needs and has since grown significantly, introducing features like millisecond billing precision and support for up to 10GB of memory.

Amazon EventBridge Latency Improvements
Amazon EventBridge has achieved a remarkable 94% improvement in end-to-end latency for Event Buses. This enhancement reduces the average latency significantly, enabling faster processing for time-sensitive applications such as fraud detection and industrial automation. Importantly, this improvement is extended to all AWS Regions, including the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions, without any additional cost.
Introducing Resource Control Policies (RCPs)

Amazon S3 has significantly increased its default bucket quota from 100 to 10,000 per AWS account, with the option to request up to 1 million buckets. While the first 2,000 buckets remain free, a small monthly fee applies to additional buckets, providing greater flexibility for managing data storage needs.

This feature allows security teams to remove long-term root credentials from member accounts, instead using temporary, task-scoped root sessions for specific actions. Amazon DynamoDB Pricing Updates
Amazon DynamoDB has announced significant price reductions, cutting costs for on-demand throughput by 50% and global tables by up to 67%. Multi-region replicated writes now cost the same as single-region pricing, positioning on-demand mode as the preferred choice for most DynamoDB workloads.
